At Magnum Entertainment, we cater to a variety of events throughout the North East, and one of our most recent projects involved providing and setting up supplies for a corporate company’s Christmas Party at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena. This was a big project for our team but the results were simply spectacular, leaving a big impression on all partygoers.
Being Contacted
We were contacted earlier in the year by this client who was looking to create a circus themed event for their Christmas party at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena. The venue was huge and nobody else in the area could supply the dance floor panels necessary to pull the event off. While they initially came to us for our huge range of Starlit dance floor stock, they also chose to purchase our LED letters from us too, a great pairing for the twinkling lights of the dance floor.
As the party would be circus themed, the client requested that the LED letters spell the word ‘Circus’, something that was more than achievable since we offer individual lettering options, unlike some of our competitors who only have standard phrases available. With the specifications gathered, we prepared for the big day.
Setting Up at Utilita Arena
On the morning of the party, a handful of our professional team arrived at Utilita Arena with everything we needed to set up a show-stopping, jaw dropping party. We began by laying the Starlit dance floors, a highly popular option for our customers due to the beautiful effect they provide that goes with almost any theme. Over one hundred and fifty panels were used to create a large dance floor that would be perfect for the night’s events.
Secondly, we set up the LED lettering in a place where it would stand out and really bring the event together. Between the bright red and white decorations for the circus theme, our lettering really helped to bring the whole theme together.
The Party
While we weren’t present for the party itself, the team hosting the event knew we would be nearby and reachable should they need assistance with the dance floors or LED lettering. However, the night went off without a hitch and we were informed by the client that the partygoers had loved the set up we had provided them.
The client was kind enough to send over some images the next day and while we won’t post them here for the privacy of the employees, every single image showed groups of people revelling on the Starlit dance floors and basking in the light of the LED letters.
The Clean-Up
With the venue empty, our team returned to Utilita Arena and disassembled the Starlit dance floors and LED lettering that had been such a big hit the night before. Even though we were packing away over one hundred and fifty Starlit dance floor panels, our team of experts have done this time and time again for events in the past, so we were able to pack up quickly and leave the space within the arena as it had been the day before.
The Aftermath
Through the stellar service we provided, we have been contacted by many other businesses across the North East to provide entertainment equipment for Christmas parties later in the year, as well as other corporate events. Our Starlit dance floors are a big draw for these corporate events, due to how many we can supply (more than any other company in the area) and at how seamlessly they integrate with any theme.
What’s more, we can set up in virtually any indoor space, and we come back the day after a party or event to remove our equipment and leave the venue spotless.
